DESCRIPTION:VDSA is excited to announce the Friendship Club for Guys & Gals. \nAges teen to young adult. \nGals time: 1:00- 2:30 pm \nGuys time: 3:00- 4:30 pm \nEach month will have a new topic included with fun activities. \n\nFriendship skills\nSocial skills\nBuild social connections\nLearn about emotions\nDeal with confrontation\nHow to cope when things don’t go your way\nand more\n\nClub meeting dates are all Sundays: \n\nMarch 17\, April 14\, May 5\, June 2\, July 14\, Aug. 25\, Sept. 22\, Oct. 6 and Nov. 3 (Club party)\n\nIt is important to be able to attend the majority of the dates. Teen and young adult volunteers will be part of the Club as well. \nThis program is sponsored by the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services
