Dancing with the Local Stars Gala

The 4th annual Dancing with the Local Stars Gala will be an opportunity to celebrate our families, raise community awareness, as well as raise money for VDSA. We are partnering with Miracles in Motion, a non-profit dance group that provides specialized dance instruction to individuals with disabilities of all ages. These dancers will be paired with local celebrities to perform a choreographed dance and be celebrated as a pair.
T21 Golf Tournament
Thursday, August 13th Sycamore Creek Golf Course, Manakin-Sabot
Be a part of the T21 Golf Tournament that has become a highlight for many Richmond golfers. Join up to 30 teams as we hit Sycamore Creek’s beautiful course in Manakin-Sabot to raise money for Virginia Down Syndrome Association!
Step UP for Down Syndrome & Family Festivals
20th Anniversary Step UP RVA & 5K – Saturday, October 24th
Step UP in the Valley – Saturday, September 12th & Step UP Hampton Roads – Saturday, October 17th
Step UP for Down Syndrome is our signature community awareness and fundraising event designed to bring the community together to show support and solidarity with individuals with Down syndrome. VDSA hosts three Step UP events across the state, offering multiple locations and times of year for you to join us in stepping up to show your support for Down syndrome.
There are many opportunities to partner and volunteer with VDSA: World Down Syndrome Day, Rock Your Socks campaign, Employment Academy, family holiday parties, and our many programs and events.
