Parents of a child with intellectual disabilities are invited to nominate any education professional that have been inspiring and committed to their students in the past year. Nominations closed on January 20, 2023.
Who is eligible?
All education and support professionals who provide direct services to a student with an intellectual disability in preK-12 are eligible. Nominees must be working in a school district in public or private school in the Central Virginia Region, including Charlottesville, Williamsburg and Central Shenandoah Valley.
How will the educators be honored?
Educator(s) that are selected for an Award will be honored at the 10th Disability Education and Transition Conference and will receive a plaque & gift card.
