Celebrate World Down Syndrome Day by Rocking your Socks!
Every year on March 21, people around the world pause to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day by wearing bright, bold, and wonderfully silly socks. The date, 3 21, represents the three copies of the twenty first chromosome that make Down syndrome unique, and socks were chosen because chromosomes are shaped like mismatched pairs.
